Whitehead £20,000 richer after Champions Week victory
Conan Whitehead whitewashed Graham Usher to claim the £20,000 first prize in the Phase 1 Champions Week final of the Modus Super Series on Saturday.
Having qualified by winning Group B, Whitehead won his first match of the night when shading Chris Mason 4-3 and made the semis despite going down by that score to Josh Payne in match two.
It also went all the way in his semi as he pipped Darryl Pilgrim in seven before his runaway success in the decider.

Phase 2 starts on Monday morning with 15 matches in Group A from 9.30am.
